Finally, the world of mobile keypads has caught up with 20 year old Wheel-Of-Fortune technology.
Wow, amazingly stupid. Have those guys really never heard of predictive text entry? Which has been included in every cell phone sold in the past, I don’t know, 5 years, at least?
Luckily they know about as much about making web sites as they know about text entry, so odds are their “solution” will never be inflicted on an unsuspecting user.
That “finally undumb :)” keypad has nothing to do with T9. It’s just related with the current dumb ABC keypad. Although I like T9, T9-like predictive softwares could be built on top of any keypad. I’d like to have my T9 run on top of this undumb keypad instead of the current “really dumb :(” ABC.
