Ruminations on the Upcoming Election

The more I think about the upcoming election, the more I’m confused. I don’t understand why anyone would want to vote for bush, unless they where a total plutocratic jingoist idiot. Last time I checked, half the country wasn’t super rich, but the polls are about even. Granted, the competition isn’t the greatest, but it still blows my mind.
I think i finally figured it out. The problem is that people treat politics like sports. No matter how much the coach sucks, you always feel compelled to support your team.
Now that I got that off my chest, time to delete 3 months of weblog comment spam (those bastards).
Take that, spam!
