… So anyway in order to get off the island, they create these wings out of wood, wax and feathers, and launch themselves into the heavens. But Icarus is too proud, too arrogant, and too sure of himself. He flies too high, too close to the sun, and it melts his wings and he falls to his death.

The moral of the story here is that.. huh? Oh, sorry, you must have already heard this one.
Last night we decided to brave the cold and 2 feet of snow (it actually wasn’t that bad after 5pm) and head over to Olive Garden. I saw two really interesting events during our meal which made for some good dinner theatre. Oh…. the irony….
1) I saw a young mother with a 3 year old girl sitting at a table near us. The kid was getting a little restless. The solution? Back hand her right in the face! I’m not talking a little smack here, I’m talking a fully arched back hand, right to the chops. I wanted to throw my unlimited breadsticks at her.
2) At another table near us, this woman was telling her 3 young children how their daddy “screwed them in the divorce” and “daddy could afford a really good lawyer but mommy couldn’t afford one”, and that’s why they aren’t able to have anything. Well, except Olive Garden of course.

damn.. what’s left?
Engine Coolant and Antifreeze Bittering Agent Act of 2005 Mmmmmmm! Looks like we may have a winner!
We haven’t been out to see either of these yet (the prerequisite preliminary drive by), but this first one looks cool because it’s within walking distance to the ferry. Somehow that is neat.
This one is within walking distance to the new proposed dog park in wethersfield
With our closing behind us, we’re back looking in earnest.
