Every once in awhile when I dig around in my programming manuals and help files, I find something that amuses me. I won’t divulge the name of the company/vendor that pumped out this little gem, but a savvy reader might be able to figure it out. Don’t think about it too long; it will likely just give you a headache.

public void HideActiveControl(); – This function hides active control. You can use this function when hiding your own form. When you back show your own form, in Detail View will not be any of items activated. If you do not call this function before hiding your form, after showing your form again, in Detail View will be active last active Item before hiding.

After the wedding, we spent 5 days in manhattan, at a suite at the Hilton (just north of Times Square).
Suite, isn't it?
Here’s Karen modelling our flat screen TV, with Bose sound system. A nice touch. Note the complimentary bottle of champagne (still unopened)
While in manhattan, we saw 3 shows:

Rent. Had Frenchy from American Idol in it. I’m not really sure I got the point. Even the program was a little vague. Lots of people say this show is great, but Karen and I both agree, the show sucked.
Wicked. Best show ever. Go see it. The story of the “Wizard of Oz” told from the perspective of the Wicked Witch of West.
Avenue Q. Very very good. If you like dirty puppets, this show is definitely for you.

(helpful hint: if you’ve never gone to see a Broadway show before and you were thinking about going, buy the cheapest tickets in the worst seats you can possibly get. New York theaters are usually so small that even the nosebleeds are great seats, and usually only run about $50 a pop)

Spidey!
Here’s Karen outside of the Daily Bugle. See if you can find spider man in this picture.

Tao!
Tao is a posh midtown club, featured in Sex and the City. Somehow they let us in. Really cool place, with nice people. Drinks hover around 12 bucks a piece. I’m not kidding.

Hair
The second night Karen stumbled into some sort of fashion show outside of Radio City Music Hall. We met tons of celebrities, and saw countless others. We hung out by the rear entrance. We saw the likes of Rod Stewart, Denis Leary, Tyra Banks, the list goes on. Most of the pictures came out pretty bad, because there was low light and lots of obstructions. Here is picture with Karen getting an autograph from the guy from That 70’s show. He’s a nice guy (mostly because he didn’t ignore us and happily signed our shwag).

Denise
Here’s a closeup of Denise Richards (no Charlie in tow). Karen and I both agree; in real life, she’s smokin’ hot.

Usher
Usher, being pushed into his Limo. He wouldn’t say ‘hi’, even though I offered him a twix bar. A total jerk.

Rand(Famous)
More famous people. I don’t know who they are. Any help?

Drunk
Here’s ‘Meadow’ from the Sopranos. According to the cops working the door that night, she was lit up on something. And it wasn’t booze.

Coppers
Some of New York’s Finest posed for us, with their Captain. They were working the door that night, and were really cool.

Coppers
Karen and I in front of Radio City, waiting for more famous people to come out.

More pictures to follow…

I’ve been getting a bit of flack for not posting anything about the wedding; we’ve been a bit busy.
Not too worry, there will be an unbelievable torrent of new/exciting posts in the coming days, including honeymoon pics.

In the mean time, check out our wedding pictures, on Pictage.com. Event keyword is:

Some thanks need to go out to Rich P for taking some outstanding pictures; we couldn’t be happier.
